This is sad and ominous. As United States Senator Ted Cruz once said “the light of truth is stronger than the terror of darkness”.

It follows that the biggest mistake that the Buhari administtation can possibly make is to attempt to crack down” on the Niger Delta and kill innocent civilians.

If this ever happens, for whatever reason, it will set off a chain of events that will lead to the end of Nigeria as we know it.Nigeria will disintegrate before Buhari’s very eyes if any more innocent blood is shed and if the towns, creeks and villages of the oil-producing states are shelled and reduced to rubble.The cause of the people of the Niger Delta, and indeed that of the Igbo people of the eastern states, is just and their struggles and aspirations are legitimate and reasonable.

Self-determination is a right. It is a concept and principle that is universally accepted and that has the backing of international law.You do not threaten and bomb those that seek to exercise that right: you treat them with respect, decency and decorum and attempt to persuade them to stay.

This is a point that is lost on President Buhari and those around him. The Avengers are not Boko Haram: taking them on in the field of battle would be a monuemental error.

Is IPOB mis­guided in our quest for the resto­ration of our fatherland Biafra, or for deciding to opt out of a One Nigeria that has failed to work since the amalgamation of 1914 to which the founding fathers, Sir Ahmadu Belo, Obafemi Awolo­wo and Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe at various times made various state­ments that point to the fact that there were no basis for the unity of Nigeria.This was also reiterated by General Yakubu Gowon after the Nigeria/Biafra war? Is it not clear to Obong Victor Attah that a Ni­geria where the Biafrans are the targeted people at any slightest misunderstanding is not work­able? A lot of Igbo elders support the Biafra ag­itation even though they are not making public, the declaration of their support while some people mounted the platform to propa­gate a total sell out of Biafra land to the Hausa-Fulani hegemony.Dr. Ike Ekweremadu once threatened that he was going to move a motion for the secession of the sovereign state of Biafra when the North wanted to move a motion for a separate caliphate for the Boko Haram. These are Igbo elders who believe that the agitation for the sovereign state of Biafra is a legitimate one. A Bishop of the catholic church in Enugu is an open advocate of the need to restore the state of Biafra. There are millions of Igbo elders who may not be open in their support but will in the fullness of time.But then, there are the Hau­sa-Fulani Slaves who are out to sabotage the struggle for the restoration of Biafra and have been receiving and sharing blood money from the government in power who are using these abom­inable Igbo elders to undermine the Biafra restoration effort.
These are the Ohaneze Ndig­bo and all the corrupt politi­cians in Biafra land who are not ashamed to feed on the crumbs that fell off the tables of their Hausa-Fulani slave masters. If Obong Victor Attah is referring to these disgruntled class of Igbo elders, IPOB do not require their support. These are saboteurs who will have no place in Biafra when Biafra is restored.

Detained Leader Of The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu yesterday, exploded from his prison custody when he insisted that his decision to restore the nation of Biafra was not his personal choice but a mandate from the Most High God (Chiukwu-okike-abiama) which was assigned to him from time immemorial. Nnamdi-Kanu in court He maintained that the restoration of the nation of Biafra is a priority and a project that must be achieved under the watchful eyes of the IPOB led by himself, an arduous task that must be accomplished in order to lead his people out of the contraption called Nigeria, without fear of death. The Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful who disclosed this yesterday in a press statement, quoted Kanu as telling some sympathizers who visited him in prison custody that he had even dedicated his life to restore Biafra, just as our Lord Jesus Christ dedicated His own life for the salvation of mankind. According to Kanu, “the reason my mother gave birth to me was to restore and save Biafrans. I also promise that the Biafran race will be a cleaned up nation and all the people of Biafra will come back home, if they are living outside the country of the new nation. Our people will no longer wander on the road again”. He queried: “How can I encourage the people of Biafra to work towards the upbringing of Nigeria, when we don’t hear the same language, don’t eat the same food and don’t have the same culture. In fact, if we come to their land to practice our culture and religion, we will be beheaded. Their women wear hijab, and Biafran women don’t, and on the point that our women don’t wear hijab and we don’t practice the same religion, they will see us as infidels and then, we will be beheaded. We are 100 per cent Christian. These people are Muslims who see killing as a culture. In Biafra where we originated from,, it will be hard for our people to kill a human being, because in my language a human being is called MMANDU, which means in English language the beauty of life. Now, you can see it will never work, the only solution is Biafra. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu further stated that “there is no regret in his dictionary,” adding that “he is ready to spend a thousand years in a prison. “ “And also we are not trying to secede from Nigeria. Militants Seize Liberian Vessel, Target Frontier Oil
A Niger Delta group, the Concerned Militant Lead­ers (CML) yesterday after­noon, seized a ship with Liberian flag along Bakassi Peninsula of Nigerian wa­terways.
This is even as the group disclosed that the next target for attack would be Frontier Oil in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.Daily Sun gathered that the vessel was heading to the Nigeria Liquefied Nat­ural Gas (NLNG), Bonny, Rivers State before it was intercepted by the mili­tants.Spokesperson of the CML, General Ben, dis­closed that they seized the ship as part of their griev­ances against the Federal Government and to cripple the economy.Ben, in a statement yes­terday evening, said they were yet to ascertain the number of crewmembers onboard the vessel, adding that they had every other information about the ship.The vessel has the following details (ex­cluding crew onboard), MMSI: 636015354; IMO: 9113551; gross tonnage: 25,202; Country Flag, Li­beria; Crude oil tanker and Pilot, Captain Marcus,” he said.The group ruled out any intention to dialogue with the Federal Govern­ment anywhere, unless it is around the Atlantic Ocean, which is their area of con­trol.

The spokesperson stated that CML had not decided what to do with the vessel and crewmembers now, but would inform the Fed­eral Government their in­tention before Wednesday, July 27.
He warned that no mili­tant group should dialogue with the Federal Govern­ment until it addressed the agitations of the Niger Delta agitators, particular­ly the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which CML, in particular, is con­cerned about.This is the worst gov­ernment we have had since this democratic dispensa­tion. People are suffering and dying due to hardship and government does not want to listen to the griev­ances of our people.There is no time again for negotiation with any government, and no group, even the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) should not do that. Government should wait for us and expect more pipeline attack.

Authorities of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has described weekend’s meeting of Ohanaeze Ndigbo held in Owerri, the Imo state capital as a mere jamboree and insignificant. Gov. Rochas Okorocha IPOB alleged that the meeting convened by Governor Rochas Okorocha, was stage-managed by his political masters in Aso Rock, Abuja, for the purpose of finding a lasting solution to the agitation for Biafra by nailing the remaining IPOB members and other agitators. In a press statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra state.by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB said it wondered why stooges to those in Abuja would come out to be deceiving our people by calling them out on such an insignificant meeting to discuss their secret agenda. Powerful said IPOB worldwide under Nnamdi Kanu is worried that those elders and some governors who attended the meeting convened by Okorocha who they alleged destroyed the South-East governors forum, because of his selfish interest, would call a meeting in Owerri instead of Enugu which is the headquarters of the old Eastern region and they attended. 

IPOB recalled that Okorocha had boycotted meetings of South East Governors’ Forum in Enugu each time it was convened, yet Igbo elders, traditional rulers and some Eastern states governors who attended the meeting in Owerri could not ask questions on why the meeting should be held in Owerri, instead of Enugu.

Militants Blow Up 2 More Oil Facilities In Delta.

WARRI- SUSPECTED militants in a twin attack, Monday morning, bombed two oil installations belonging to an oil exploration company, near Batan community in Delta State. Details of the incident were sketchy at the time of this report, but locals said the explosions occurred at about 12.05 am on Monday. The double strike came as Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, debunked the claim by the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr Solomon Dalung, that he met with the militant group at Oporoza, saying he was apparently defrauded by Niger Delta fraudsters. Meanwhile, the Niger Delta Suicides, NDS, another militant group in the region, has warned that it would devastate the economy in different forms if government refused to create a genuine platform for talks with militants. Chairman of Batan community, Dickson Ogugu, who confirmed the attack, said: “We heard a double explosion at about 12:05am between Camp 3 and Kokologbene communities.” A security officer attached to 3 Battalion, Effurun, near Warri, who also spoke to Vanguard, said a team of military personnel has been drafted in company of a surveillance team to ascertain the extent of damage. Dalung scammed Spokesman of Avengers, self-styled Brig Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, while reacting to the alleged visit of Dalung to Oporoza, yesterday, said:The Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, narrated how he mer some self-acclaimed Niger Delta Avengers in Oporoza, Gbaramatu kingdom. We are here to let the public know that Niger Delta fraudsters have defrauded the Minister.Niger Delta Avengers cannot stoop so low to send representatives to meet a common Minister of Youths that does not know his work. “Solomon Dalung has been defrauded and played by Niger Delta fraudsters, he did not hold any meeting with us, Niger Delta Avengers. “Let me make it clear that any meeting with the Avengers that the international community is not part of, we will not be part of such dialogue as well.Agbinibo added.Trouble looms NDS, in a statement by its spokesperson, Amakiri, asserted: We, the Niger Delta Suicides, NDS, wish to warn the present government and those clamoring to frustrate the efforts of Niger Delta Avengers to have a rethink and create a genuine platform for dialogue, otherwise, we will use our oil to survive and they will eat their yam.This fight is a fight by everyone, including children yet unborn. Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka Has, Again,Explained His Support For Biafran Agitators.

Soyinka said the Igbo people have been so wronged that they have no choice than to consider opting out of Nigeria.
Prof. Soyinka spoke on Al Jazeera, yesterday where he shed light on his support for Biafra agitators.I am very much pro- Biafra because I recognise that the Igbo have been wronged desperately.
They have been brutalised in a way that justifies their feeling that they were not part of the nation.Let me also say this, Biafrans are not entirely innocent in this affair. They were not, but the unleashing of such venom, such devastation on them as a people, was sufficient to justify their decision not to be part of the nation.I was pro-Biafran in the sense that I felt that they needed justice.”

Soyinka said a few years ago, he would have agreed that Nigeria would break, but, now that a section of the country is in trouble, there is some kind of pulling together. NIGERIA: A MACABRE DANCE OF DEATH The National leadership and the entire members of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, have received with rude shock and disbelief the report of yet another religious hatred motivated gruesome murder of a dedicated 42-year-old Christian mother of seven children, Mrs. Eunice Elisha, who on Saturday 9th July, 2016, was brutally killed while doing Christian evangelism.Mrs. Eunice Elisha was murdered in Kubwa area of Abuja, FCT, in the early hours of the day. Her neck was slashed and she was also stabbed in the stomach. About a month ago in Kano, Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme, a 74 year old Christian was murdered at Wambai market due to an altercation with a Muslim man who came to the front of her shop to perform ablution. Her offence was that she objected to the Islamic washing rite in front of her shop.Just last week a clergyman of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Reverend Zakariya was killed by attackers suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen in Obi LGA of Nasarawa state. They attacked him on his farm, cut off his arms and legs, then they chopped his head with a machete. Another fresh but sad news reaching us is that of the Fulani herdsmen militia that is back on rampage killing 81 people in multiple attacks in Logo and Ukum local government areas of Benue state in central Nigeria.In recent times, there have been multiple cases of attacks by Fulani herdsmen on various Christian communities, all over the nation. In the South East and in the South South zones, there have been gruesome attacks on IPOB members and on Christian communities in the Niger Delta. All these are in addition to the relentless attacks of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen in the Middle Belt and southern Borno.The Christian Association of Nigeria commiserates with the families affected by these mindless orgies of death and destruction as well as with the entire Christian community in Nigeria. We pray that God in His mercy shall comfort and strengthen the families of all the Nigerians affected in these unwarranted murders unleashed upon the nation by religious extremists.The recurring decimal of violence and murder of innocent Nigerian citizens on the basis of religious intolerance demands specific and relevant response from all concerned citizens in the country more so when the government in power seems to have adopted an attitude of lukewarm response to the evils being perpetrated in Nigeria in the name of religion.The discrimination against non-Muslims in Nigeria under the Buhari Administration is assuming a dangerous dimension that should not be left to the vagaries of time and circumstance to resolve.You will agree with me that with these happenings and the lukewarm attitude by the authorities concern toward putting an end to it, Nigeria is dancing a macabre dance of death, both for the nation and for its citizens. Why We Are Not Talking With Avengers – FG.

THE Federal Government explained yesterday why it has refused to enter into dialogue with the Niger Delta Avengers who has continuously bombed pipelines in the region even as the militants vowed not to beg government for negotiation. The Federal Government gave the explanation a day after the Avengers blew up three more trunk lines in Bayelsa and Rivers.

Meanwhile, residents of over 75 riverine communities Delta state have cried out over the pollution of their environment and environment by the activities of the Avengers and other militant groups. Avengers are economic warriors President Muhammadu Buhari Giving reason why the Federal Government was not holding talks with the Niger Delta Avengers on how to put an end to the bombing of pipelines, Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo said that they are not freedom fighters but economic warriors who are fighting for their own private pockets. Professor Osinbajo who delivered the second foundation lecture of Elizade University,Ilaramokin, Ondo state entitled.

The Vice President however said that the Federal Government has concluded arrangements to tackle the menace of pipeline vandalism in the Niger/Delta region. While condemning the activities of the militants who claimed responsibility for the vandalization of petroleum pipelines in the Niger/Delta region, said “the previous government neglected the region for several years, hence the current challenges in the region. 

The Federal Government has however put machinery in motion to curtail the activities of Niger/Delta Avengers”.He also lamented that the activities of the avengers were responsible for the epileptic power supply in the country as well as the inability of state governors to pay workers’ salaries due to the low revenue generated in the oil sector as a result of the attack on pipelines.

Avengers Hits Chevron Again. Blows Up 3 Manifolds.
WARRI- Suspected militants have blown up three Chevron Nigeria Limited CNL 

manifolds in Digbolo, near Dibi in Warri North Local Government of Delta State. 

The incident it was gathered occurred at about 11.00 pm on Wednesday.

Claiming responsibility for the attack, the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, said: “Between the hours of 10:50pm to 11:10 pm, our (Niger Delta Avengers) strike team blew up Chevron manifolds. The statement signed by its spokesperson, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, while wishing Muslims a happy Eid Mubarak celebration, said: The manifolds are RMP 22, 23 and 24. 

The group however, denied attack on the NNPC pipeline in Eleme, Rivers State, posted by on a Niger Delta Avengers Facebook account it described as fake. Warning the public that it is shutting down all its social media accounts, the group said: Niger delta Avengers is not out to mislead the public, as a result, we are closing our entire social network accounts.

This Facebook Account/page is an impostor page that was open by fraudster to deceive the general public.” Speaking further, it said: “We warning any group that wants to do anything to go about their activities without tagging us (Niger Delta Avengers).

Instead do your activities and claim responsibility.Niger Delta Avengers is not out to mislead the public as a result we are closing all our Social network accounts and will be using our websites to pass information to the general public. it added.

Buhari to Militants: Nigeria’s Unity Not Negotiable.

Against the background of incessant bombings of oil and gas installations in the Niger Delta by the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, which apparently threaten the peace and unity of the country, President Mohammadu Buhari has stated that Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable. Avengers Blow Up 5 NNPC, Chevron, NPDC Facilities In Delta ON JULY 3, 2016

THE Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, resumed attacks on oil and gas installations in the Niger Delta region, weekend, blowing up Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL and Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC crude oil trunk lines and oil wells in Delta State. The militant group confirmed on it twitter handle that it actually bombed two major NNPC crude oil trunk line to Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, 
WRPC, Warri, on Friday at about 9.15 pm. It said: “At 11:26pm on Saturday @NDAvengers blow up two NPDC major crude trunk lines close to Batan flow station in Delta state.”
At 1:15am on Sunday @NDAvengers blow up two major Chevron Oil Wells. 
Well 7 and Well 8, close to Abiteye flow station in Delta state,” it added. 
The militant group in a tweet congratulating its fighters for a good job, asserted:
